California cancellation notice
For purchases covered by California’s dating-service law: You, the buyer, may cancel this agreement, without any penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the original contract seller’s third business day following the date of this contract, excluding Sundays and holidays. To cancel, email a signed and dated notice stating that you are canceling this agreement, or words of similar effect, to BidPointX LLC at manuel@bidpointx.com. Your typed name may serve as your electronic signature. This statutory cancellation right is separate from stopping automatic renewal. A retainable digital copy of these terms is available on request.
About Current
Current Dating by BidPointX is operated by BidPointX LLC. These terms govern the Current website and app, including optional paid features when offered. By agreeing in the app, you accept these terms and acknowledge the privacy notice. The website waitlist does not create a dating profile or purchase. Adults only. Your account, your responsibility.
You must be at least 18 years old and meet applicable local eligibility requirements. Provide your accurate birth date and complete the required adult-assurance process. Do not impersonate another person, share an account, evade a restriction or create a replacement account to contact someone who declined or blocked you. Verification checks assess specified information; they do not establish good character or guarantee safety.
A mistake should have a way back
You can correct an unverified birthday before an identity check begins. If a recorded age result or restriction prevents that change, request a review from Account and help in the app. Explain the mistake and propose the correct birthday; do not attach identity documents to the note or email them to support. The review team may request a new secure verification. A review request, a corrected date or an operator decision alone does not prove adulthood or unlock discovery. Fresh approved identity and liveness evidence is required, and separate safety restrictions must also be resolved. Your account, draft setup and existing eligibility are not erased simply because a review is pending. You can check status, get help, sign out or request deletion while waiting.
Respectful participation
Use accurate photos that you have permission to share. No harassment, threats, hate, stalking, coercion, sexual exploitation, nonconsensual imagery, fraud, solicitation, spam or content involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. Do not publish another person’s private information, scrape profiles, probe someone’s location, or attempt to defeat privacy controls. Current may restrict visibility or contact during review, remove prohibited content and suspend accounts, with a route to appeal.
Introductions and mutual conversations
An introduction is an invitation, not an entitlement to a response. Recipient capacity, your current allowance and safety limits apply. Once admitted into the recipient’s inbox, the introduction counts as used even if it is declined or unanswered. Acceptance requires a reply. An accepted introduction gives its original sender one earned Shot, recorded once; this is an in-app sending credit, not a cash refund. Replies and mutual continuation are free. A ten-minute arrival window invites a live Spark. The fifteen-minute Spark begins when both people have fresh room activity, or when the original sender replies during that arrival window. Missing the arrival window preserves the reply and connection; either person may request a fresh Spark. A timer does not promise immediate deletion of messages. Either participant can leave, end contact, report or block. A purchase cannot override another person’s consent.
Earned Shots and optional check-in
The five included introductions refresh on a rolling twenty-four-hour basis. Earned and purchased Shots remain subject to recipient capacity, blocks and pair restrictions. Across all balances, a maximum of twenty new introductions per rolling twenty-four hours and three per ten minutes applies. Replies are not new introductions. The optional Early Check-In grants one earned Shot on Monday through Thursday between 6:00 PM and 6:15 PM in the server-determined device-location time zone, after the eligibility checks succeed. Device clock changes, retries or exploration locations cannot create another valid claim. The app remains available outside that window. Rewards have no monetary value and do not guarantee a reply or a match.
Current Plus monthly subscription
Current Plus includes twenty extra introductions per paid billing month, unlimited Travel access while subscribed, and the ability to send introductions in a selected destination before physically arriving. A send means a new invitation; replies in existing conversations stay free. The twenty-send allowance refreshes at each verified paid renewal, not on a calendar-month boundary, and unused monthly sends do not roll over. This is additional to included daily sends and earned rewards; it does not add five extra daily sends. Current Plus renews automatically at the localized monthly price displayed by the native store unless you cancel. Manage or cancel through the store subscription settings accessible from the app. Canceling renewal ordinarily keeps benefits through the verified paid period; refunds, revocations and applicable law may alter access. Store-confirmed billing grace can preserve access but does not create another twenty-send allowance without a paid renewal. Restoring or reinstalling does not refill a period. Closing a Current account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; cancel it through the store.
Other optional purchases
Prices and taxes appear in the native store before you pay. A Weekend Pass does not automatically renew and starts at the verified purchase time for 72 hours, or at the store-confirmed prepaid period where applicable. It grants Travel and five additional introductions per rolling twenty-four hours, subject to the same limits. A Priority Reload grants five nonexpiring introduction credits and seventy-two hours of permission to send invitations to currently visible, opted-in Ghost Lounge profiles, starting at verified purchase time. Ghost visibility is limited, does not guarantee anyone is available, and remains subject to mutual settings and safety controls. The store displays the actual localized price. Restoration does not restart a pass or Priority access. Refunds and revocations are handled through the store and applicable law. Current records each verified transaction once. Already consensual conversations do not require a purchase and are not deleted because a pass ends.
City areas and Travel
Current automatically assigns a nearby settlement area from your fresh device location. City labels describe approximate discovery areas, not legal municipal boundaries; coverage and placement near borders can be imperfect. Nearby mode expands discovery within your chosen radius for free, while mutual preferences and visibility limits still apply. Verified active Current Plus or a Weekend Pass includes Travel: choose one catalog destination at a time to explore its currently eligible profiles and send an introduction before arrival. Unlimited Travel means no per-trip quota while Plus is active, not unlimited sending or access to unwilling people. Short destination-change cooldowns still apply. Travel is clearly labeled and does not assert that you are physically there. People can exclude travelers from discovery. Travel ends when access expires or is revoked and returns discovery to your physical area. An uninterrupted Plus renewal can continue a selected destination; returning after a lapse requires a fresh selection. Changing destination does not move your physical location or change check-in reward eligibility. Existing mutual conversations remain available. No destination guarantees available people.
Meet thoughtfully
CURRENT DOES NOT ROUTINELY CONDUCT CRIMINAL OR SEX-OFFENDER BACKGROUND CHECKS. An approved profile or age check is not a background check or a promise that meeting someone is safe. Avoid sharing your home address, financial information or exact live location. Meet in a public place, arrange your own transport and tell a trusted person your plans. You remain free to leave any interaction.
Privacy, deletion and support
Review the privacy notice and safety standards before agreeing. You may pause discovery, change visibility preferences, request your own data and initiate account deletion in the app. Closing an account immediately removes access and begins the published deletion process; limited records may be retained for applicable legal, safety or accounting purposes. Your legal rights
Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer, privacy, cancellation or other statutory rights. Applicable law and any more protective local requirements take priority over a conflicting term. These terms do not require arbitration or waive access to a legally competent court. Contact manuel@bidpointx.com with a dispute or cancellation request so we can identify the account and respond. You may also contact the regulator or consumer-protection authority responsible for your location.
Your content and our service
You keep ownership of content you upload. You give BidPointX LLC the limited permission needed to host, resize, display and deliver that content according to your settings, operate consensual conversations, and investigate reports. This permission is not a sale of your photos or messages. It ends when the content is removed, except for delivery already completed and lawful, restricted retention described in the privacy notice. Current branding and software belong to their respective owners. Report a copyright concern to manuel@bidpointx.com with the work, the location of the material and your contact details; do not include private identity documents.
Availability and account decisions
Features can be interrupted or unavailable, and no number of invitations, matches or dates is guaranteed. We may restrict or terminate access for a violation of these terms, an eligibility issue, abuse or a legal requirement. We provide a review route through Account and help or manuel@bidpointx.com; urgent safety or legal action may happen before notice. You can stop using Current and request deletion at any time. We do not exclude liability or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
Cancellation and local protections
You can stop automatic renewal in your Apple or Google subscription settings. A statutory cancellation or refund right is separate from switching off renewal. If California Civil Code section 1694.1 applies to your purchase, you may cancel by written notice until midnight of the third business day after the agreement to purchase. Send a clear notice to manuel@bidpointx.com with your account email and transaction reference; keep a copy. No special wording is required. We honor applicable refund obligations, including the statutory ten-day refund period where required. Other places may provide additional rights, including rights related to disability, death or relocation. Store processing does not waive mandatory rights against the operator. Contact us if the store process does not resolve a statutory request.
Changes to these terms
We date each version of these terms. Material changes are communicated through the service or another appropriate channel and require renewed agreement where the law requires it. An updated policy does not create a charge by itself. The native store displays the offer and recurring billing terms before you choose to purchase.
California death or disability rights
Where California Civil Code section 1694.3 applies, if death or disability prevents you from receiving all contracted services, you or your estate may end the obligation to pay for services not received before death or the onset of disability. Amounts prepaid for unused services will be promptly refunded to you or your representative. For this right, disability is a condition preventing physical use of the contracted services during the disability, verified in writing by a physician you select and pay. If the physician determines that the disability will last less than six months, the law permits a six-month extension at no additional charge instead of cancellation. Contact manuel@bidpointx.com to arrange secure submission of any required supporting information; do not email medical records or identity documents without instructions.
